I have a d15 bottom end and the head gasket is leaking and the head is a little worn(noisey 230k)... i have a d16 head, non vtec, with only 40k on it i was just wondering would they bolt up? i am famillar with b series and know the heads on those blocks are interchangable with little work.. if it is interchangable what is needed to be done?

Guessing it's a D16A6 head? Yeah, it'll work...use a A6 T-belt.

 

yep it will bolt on purfectly just use the timing belt that comes with the head not the block.

 

They are right.

A6 cam is a bit more aggressive too than the B7. Get an adjustable cam gear or get the OEM one from a D16Y7.

FYI- I swapped cams in my B7 and noticed a significant difference up top till red line.
