Well I'm doing this for a customer that came into work today (Acura Dealership), he's a dude originally from Florida but recently moved to the Newport Beach area of Southern California. He was asking me how much his ITR is worth because he wants to sell it and pick up something else. He asked me to for advice and I pointed him into the ITR forum of HT. But moving on... He doesn't know what to do and what to price his car for; He wants 13k or 14k though, I'm sure if someone offered $12k he'd take it though
The car is a 1998 CW ITR, it is stock all the way around. It has ~63k miles I think he said and he is the first owner, CLEAN TITLe; he purchased it in Florida for $27k when it first came out. The car has no accidents or anything, it had some dings and the side of his lip is scraped but nothing major. He said he's gonna get the whole car cleaned up tomarrow so I'm not sure, how the lip will look.
Anyways, I was just posting this up for him because I'm afraid he won't find his way to this site. Lol. If you have any questions PM me or if you wanna check it out/buy it; PM me for his number.
Just tryin' to help out a nice guy with an ITR.\
I told him to also go to the ITR meet in So Cal- but I dunno if he'll find it either
<FONT SIZE="5"> UPDATE: CAR STOLEN OVER THE WEEKEND. 15TH-16TH.
The 1998 CW ITR was stolen over the weekend at Carsmetics over on Harbor in between Adams and Baker; In Costa Mesa. The owner had left it there to get a tune up and a good cleaning, it was reported stolen there.
It's a STOCK 1998 CW ITR, it has no mods whatsoever except for Alpine deck, amp and 2* 12' subs.
It's sitting on WHITE CW ITR wheels and the front lip has a lil' scrape on the driver side.
The plates are from Florida too; thats what would stand out the most about the car.
The car only around ~60k miles on it, so keep an eye out for the cluster and other stock ITR stuff.

98 CW ITR with 63k original miles and in good condition, clean title etc, will easily sell for 14k

Lol, beats me
Well the guy hasn't called me recently or anything and I don't see any new ITR owners chiming in- I'm guessing he either forgot about what I told him or doesn't care.
Who knows.
I wouldn't be surprised if it got stolen already with all these thefts around So Cal area.

He got to CA for less than a week too.
Jesus christ, I doubt he'll ever own another Honda around here with that kind of impression !
