Radiator is not working

Default Radiator is not working

i noticed my radiator fan isn't working i checked all the fuses and nothing is burnt

Try hot wiring the radiator fan directly to the battery and see if the fan comes on or not.

unclip the fan, and either cut the clip off, or touch 1 wire to each pin in the clip coming off the fan motor and touch one wire to the pos. batt and 1 to the neg. batt.post. if it comes on there is a problem in your wiring, fusebox or fan switch. you can just wire it straight to your ignition or your battery with a switch.

it doesnt come on until it needs too, as in when the coolant is going throught the radiator and still not getting cool cause your not moving

mayb thats why, because i just tried to hot wire the fan and its working fine. ill get back to you guys on this one tomorrow, when i run my car

its probably just fine, just watch your temp guage and make sure you get all the air out of the system...

yeah i wired a switch to my driver's side on my console, and i just turn it on when my engine's warm, kinda pointless unless im driving long-distance or its hot out, but it looks cool 5 bucks from radio shack has a red led light and a red cover

its extremly pointless considering thats what it does normally... and when you forget and your engine overheats

it only works when it has too. if you really wanna hear it turn on, let your car sit and idle for 30 minutes and the fan will turn on
