Whats your idea of a perfect street/ strip setup

Default Whats your idea of a perfect street/ strip setup

looking for yalls opinions... what im looking for is a fwd car that can hook on the street and run the rwd cars from a dead stop... and run bad *** times at the track....

i think my idea of one would be a built motor with traction bars and coilovers with a turbo that max out around 500 or so....

It's pretty diffcult hooking a FWD car on the streets with 500+ ponies.....300 or so would be more ideal...

i just wanna see what others think.. i think a boost by gear set up would be best that way you can utilize the power and actually get traction

That or just a good ole fashion driver that knows how to control his foot.

I hate to say it, but this thread is gonna go down kinda fast.

I would say the perfect street/strip setup would either be the Mach 5 or KIT. But KIT from the early years, not the rocket powered whatever machine they turned it into to boost ratings.
