sprayed bc/cc out of the same gun, now its spraying terribly
ok well i think i forgot to change my fluid tips from 1.3 for base to 1.4 for clear on my devilbiss, now the gun is spraying all weird with the 1.3mm tip. is this normal if u spray bc/cc from the same tip?
ps- the 1.3mm tip is "spurting" paint onto the surface

was the tip clean when you switched it, or was the gun clean....My Sata's spits when the gun isn't clean or wasn't cleaned good enough
Did you clean out the gun really good right away, after you sprayed the clear. You can base and clear w/ the same 1.3 size gun, just need to rinse/clean it before the clear. Its not ideal, but very do-able. Take the gun apart, strip/clean all the inner parts like the needle, air cap, baffle really good. Then test out the pattern. A clogged/dirty air cap/nozzle is a common cause of this problem.
Another thing to keep in mind, When changing fluid tips make sure the needle is out of the gun, or the trigger is pulled back when putting a tip on and tightening it down. Otherwise you can damage your needle/fluid tip.

i had the same problem on my devilbiss gti. this is what a sikkens rep told me. he just told me to tighten the fluid tip an extra noch. and it worked. check your lid too. while spraying, check to see if the hole on your lid is open, clogged etc. have a needle point handy. air should be breathing through that hole. na mean.
