SO true. I don't think you can't get any more comfortable than driving a stock stock!

Ha..so i was out shopping for a dd when the whole aftermarket clutch s2k daily thing was getting too hardcore.
i ended up getting a strip down miata that doesn't even comes with a roof(no a/c, p/s, power locks powr mirror cruise)
the next time i know, i got some stiff **** suspension for the miata

Haha don't bother with that ****. Use some actual soundproofing materials, like Dynomat. Definitely put some under the hood and on the firewall. That stuff won't do much at all. If you want to handle better but still feel comfy, go get the H&R OE Sport springs. They barely drop the car and you handle better but are still comfortable.
But at the end of the day it's still a Civic.

so are honda's unable to become comfortable? I drove a 08 accord from my work to the dealership and it was so quiet i had to start tapping on the steering wheel to make any noise. but it is just a honda i guess. If you want quiet or a "luxurious" ride quality in your rattle bucket just sound deaden it under the carpet, door panels, trunk , firewall, quarters and their you have it.

An 08 Accord IS comfortable. It's a higher end Honda. It's midprice, family oriented, so it's got a lot of features and is not harsh nor loud.
A 94 Civic is NOT. A Civic is a low end entry level car, low priced, commuter/economically designed, so it's got less features, harsher, and louder. The materials and construction won't be on par with an Accord.
It's easier to have a quiet Accord than a quiet Civic based on this.
