I've got a red Iceman Intake (are they all red?) Anyway, its starting to fade and look like pooh, would it look better or worse if I sprayed it with some Ford Red 500 (that I'll have left over from painting my valve cover) Being its plastic I'm not sure how it will look with all the bumps and such. Any suggestions?

 

lightly tooth, one coat wetsanded primer, two or more coats wetsanded paint...a lot of work but if you're patient it'll look great

 

That Ford red looks more orange to me. If you really want it red, get some high temp red paint (it will be flat finish), and if you want a glossy finish, go over it w/ high temp. clear coat.
