What can cause an engine to misfire? ma cuz has a b20 which has been bored with wiseco pistons and crane stage 3 cams. he also has msd 6al with 2 step , apexi vafc , chipped ecu , hks muffler system , aem cam gears , 350 cc injectors , dc sports header ...

 

Distributpr cap, bad plug wires, those are the only simple things i can think of. Possibly the "msd" part, im not bashing them, but i've heard bad things about them, im sure there peole who dont have a problem with them too though.

 

how do you know its a misfire?
