Default exhaust leak - possible cracked manifold, unsure

so like the topic says - im not sure if its my exhaust thats leaking, cracked exhaust manifold or possibly a cracked intake manifold. its making the same sound an exhaust leak would make but it sounds like its coming from the intake manifold side of the motor, only happens when i accelerate. unsure of any ways on how to check it and i dont want to bring my car somewhere to pay for someone to check it. if anyone can help that would be cool. thanks ahead of time

Jack it up, put it on some stands, and look under it. If it's a big leak, or crack, you will be able to see it. Most likely

alright, il give that a shot when the damn snow melts away lol - it sounds like the tiniest pinhole of a leak..but its so damn annoying. i guess the same would go for the intake manifold..just check for cracks. **** is so annoying..fix one thing and another breaks

Factory exhaust manifold?

Pull the heat shield off if it is, and check for any cracks.

As bad as the non-EX manifolds are about cracking, the EX ones are still proned to crack too, just not as common.

If it's an aftermarket header then the gasket may be leaking at the exhaust ports where the header meets the head.

Yeah the Y7 exhaust manifolds are horrible for cracking...mine is, as well.

But that crack has been there for over a year without making any leak noise, and it is a fairly significant crack.

well mine makes a noise, when you push the gas down, its loud.. like a bad doughnut gasket sound, but i pulled the heat shield off and its cracked, and almost looked like someone tried to weld it once before.
