Yea i have had the car for about 2 years and i finally started doing all the paint and body work to it about 6 months ago.

Yea the time isnt a big issue for me i work at that shop so when im not working im working on it!! its mixed in our shop its battleship grey we pretty much just mixed black and white till i found a color i liked ha lol and its going to have a swap when i get money lol im broke now.

 

Nice, this is pretty much all my crx needs, minor rust repair and a little body work. I tried to fix the inside out rust on my moonroof that looks just like yours about a year ago and now other spots are coming up. I would say try to get another rust free moonroof or a new one if you can. This actually gives me inspiration to do the body work but don't have the time or patience for bodywork.

 

o yea thats my bosses 69 camaro in the background i will post up some pics if i can find them!! its big ballin!!!!

 

yea my moonroof is toast!! and i cant really find another one so im just gonna keep looking. i was really lucky i bought the car for 600 bucks lol i found it in a barn. the quarters have no rust!! the rustiest part on the car is that moonroof lol

 

doesn't somebody sell a carbon fiber or fiberglass moonroof lid?

 

i dont think so. I think they are just caps.

 

they do make carbon moonroof skin not just a plug so you can open and close the moonroof normal and there hard to find!i found one on ebay but very pricey and it was in puerto rico

its kinda funny that you went to the trouble to take the quarter glass out but then left the antenna in and masked around it. ha
