Default ABS Light ON - Help please

Hi all,
93, Accord EX, 172k, auto

My ABS light has been on for a while. Pulled code and it seems I have more than one sensor dead. I am not planning on fixing them. Too much money and I only drive the car in the winter.

Can I pull a fuse to turn the light off in the dashboard?
Thank you all in advance

Joe

Also means you have no ABS...would hate to see you hit some wet pavement, lock up those brakes and reaerend someone...I would just suck it up and get it fixed.

PFFFFFFF HAHAHA do you have any idea how much that costs to get fixed? When the ABS doesn't work on a car noone ever fixes it. just so you know there are still new cars sold that don't have abs. it's not the end of the world. If you driver properly you don't need it

Yeah not the end of the world

My 97 accord never came with it, you just have to learn how to drive in the different conditions.

It can be a very pricy fix, however I suggest you search for the "ABS FIX FOR $5.00" or something along those lines, it's in the Accord FAQ, apparently there's a chance it's just this like small gasket that's busted.

I have been driving it for over 2 years without any ABS - knock on woods

But I am sick and tired of looking at the light in the dashboard.

I just want that light off

Thank you all
Joe M.

The price for each sensor is around $150. Hate to give the bad news, fortunately though, they are easy as hell to install and yes it is worth having ABS. saved my life and others a few times every winter.
