Just wondering what kind of turbo kits that you guys run? I got a buddy that just recently got a FG and I'm just curious. I've seen kits for the EP3 and the DC5 but I havn't really seen any. Can you run those same kits and just run different intercooler piping?

I think the only one out now is from AJP.

Well GReddy is a more well known company, so that makes me biased. One important thing however is that there is no standalone engine management at this point, you'd be using a piggyback to control the A/F ratio which isn't the BEST, but still works.

If you check out 8thcivic you can read countless accounts about the AJP turbo kit.

Personally I'd stay away from it and if you had the $ to get a kit right now, go with the GReddy

From what I "heard" from my mechanics and othes who have run these kits, neither really perform really well.

There are still some challanges with the fuel tuning. As for reliability, I know three people who were running the Greddy Turbo and all three got rid of it after a new months. They mainly got rid of it because of performance issues, but one of my friend had "problems" continuesly. However, I credit most of his issues with installation, not the kit.

I think tuning is the biggest thing holding everyone back at this point. Kits can be re engineered or improved, but you really need that tuning to make any use out of it.
