Default fs: Socal - want a cheap, fast, relaible track bike? 02 f4i - 1500!!!! omgwtfbbq

yes you read right. 1500

i'm selling my track bike (aka the f4i of DOOMMM) because it's time to move on. there's title issues with the previous owner, which means i don't want to deal with the DMV bullshit to sell this for 1000 bucks more as a street bike. instead, you guys can pick up a cheap track bike that'll run forever, and keep your pretty street bikes at home.

for 1500 you get a bike that's close to stock. it'll come with a yosh slip on, race tech forks, APE manual CCTL, and hell i'll throw in some brand new OEM geared sprockets and some nice supercorsa take offs bcuz i'm a nice guy. the bike is pretty much ready to go with a few ez repairs (OEM rearsets need a new peg, and a new shifter mechanism--hell i'll fix it for you if you want, at cost).

if you want more cool stuff w/ it (like a penske rear, rearsets, PCIII, or clip ons) we can work out a new price.

for anyone who has a bike that they're afraid to lowside at the track because they owe money on it, only have liability, etc--this is the way to go. you can abuse this bike, fix it for pennies, and most of all ride your *** off on it.

most of you guys have seen pix of the bike, but if you haven't, pm for pictars.

Once again, I'm in the wrong country. I would rock that in a heartbeat.

Good luck with the sale, that is a price hard to beat!

Its too bad that its so hard to import bikes, if I could bring it here that thing would be sold.

Hmmm...might be interested. Got an offer on my bike today and it might be worth it to have a bike I can dump at the track and not feel bad about

Need some current pics, only have the ones from before and after your BW track day. Also, specs on the forks, rear shock, etc?

headlights/signals: no
mirrors: yes

this really isn't something you'd want to turn into a street bike. I guess if you happen upon a good frame and want to do a frame swap, you could.

and a quick note on title:

02/28/2004 California
Motor Vehicle Dept. SALVAGE TITLE/CERTIFICATE ISSUED

02/28/2005 California
Motor Vehicle Dept. JUNK TITLE/CERTIFICATE ISSUED
REBUILT TITLE ISSUED

08/31/2006 California
Motor Vehicle Dept. NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE TITLE ISSUED

the 8/31 title is when i bought the bike. the guy lost the title and got a replacement. not sure why it became a "N.A.M. title"

i'll call the guy again and that way you could turn in the paperwork and get a replacement title.

nope, frame is spot on. it's just titling issues. in theory, you could get a clean title frame throw all the stuff from this bike on, and have a clean title f4i if you're so inclined.

if you just wanna ride the thing off public streets, forget all that and just buy it.

in fact, they're not really even titling issues. it's more "just get it out of my garage and gimme some cash for it"
