Default REAR FLOOR DIY

i wanna weld in a new floor in my rear over the tire well. to make it flat better looking. i deleted my interior and i want to wel it from the rear up to the rear of the seats. any tips or links to where someone has done this ?

Try to clean up what your saying better. If im getting you right, you want to weld a piece over your spare space and all that. Why not put your cardboard back in, with the carpet over it. Thats basically the SAME thing but it looks better then sheet metal without any panels...

i accidently broke the cardboard in the back of my trunk in my civic becuz of the weight of my sub and amp so i plan on making a custom board to put underneath
i did it once before for my buds ep3 came out excellent im debating on whether to make a little secret compartment so i dont have to lift the board up

i ahve bare steel back there no platic wouldnt look right i didnt think. any ideas?

I did this with thin MDF wood. Cameout great. Cut out the curves with cardboard first. Then cut it out on the wood.

on Ek and EG hatches i have seen some cars with the spare tire compartment cut out and sheetmetal welded in over it so it is flat .. has anyone else ever seen that or know what i am talking about?

Wow....I have been looking for something to do to make my car a little more pratical and keep me occupied on boring(rainy) days...this is an awesome idea. Sorry but I am definitely going to copy your buddy with the EM1, that is a nice setup, minus the subs.

thats pretty nice doing something simular but still under construction i thoght that i might have been the only one around here that was doing stuff like that.
