Check engine lights, will run like ****, etc. etc.
Usually the IACV will toss out a code due to the different IACV type on an LS engind and a 96-00 Civic.
It also would run very rich causing "system too rich" codes as well.
Not a good idea.

It would be a bad idea for OBD2 y7's. In an OBD1 car with a few things altered, thats a different story.
As for the y7, there are a few immediate things that would give it a little more go. Things like a lightened flywheel, EX tranny would make a very nice and noticible difference. You can also consider intakes/header/exhaust, but the fact is that its a singlecam, and the only way your going to get some power out of it is with forced induction.
