Its most likely going to be slow whatever way you break it down
To mazda for making a inexpensive turbo car...
HONDA!! HELLO WHERE ARE YOUR DAMN TURBO CARS!?

I personally don't care that Honda doesn't make turbo cars. If I was turbo nut, I wouldn't be a Honda nut. Besides, 170hp? Honda N/A B-series motors have been making that kind of power for 10 years with smaller a displacement.
to Honda for pushing motor technology to new heights with R&D instead of packaging a bunch of "neat" features in a car that's really nothing to get excited about.

Don`t thank Mazda, thank me!
I throw focus groups for Mazda and pack them full of Honda Enthusiasts. We tell them whet we like, what we want, how much we want to spend, etc. Factory boost is always a big issue

I like the turbo neon better and I'd rather have a FM2 turbo kit on a miata.
Just for the record, I would do anything for this car.
hp 315.4 torque 329

the kids that posted on the speedoptions were a bunch of idiots, you guys should take a look at their comments, especially some kid who compares the tuned suspension to those of a porsche gt and mercedes. they dont see that mazda is hoping(modestly)that the car will put down 170hp TO THE WHEELS! thats going to be one fun car. not to mention the racing hart wheels.

Don't forget those old 4DR (Sleeper) '88-'89 Mazda 323 GT & GT-R, DOHC with Turbos.
Then 3DR in '91-'93 the 1.8 DOHC w/Turbo & 4WD (Not sure if offered in US thoug for these years).

I'm exited about his car, its far from perfect, but its a step in the right direction. I really don't care much for these gimicky cars, but this one looks good, and i liked the protege mp3, beacuse it handeled really well.
What's more is the fact that manufacturers are using forced induction as a nice way for ringing extra ponies from small engines.
Honda may make NA engines that have 200 HP at the crank, but they cost a good 2000$ or more then similar power cars from other manufactures.
to affordable power.

Have a turbo 1.8 japanese 323 motor and awd tranny on the way. Should have it in a month. 180hp stock and I also got a aftermarket ecu that should put it well into the 200+ hp range and still be safe and reliable.
Only problem is I don't know a thing about mazda's. Guess I better learn.

honda has turbo cars..for whoever said where r the turbo honda cars..theres the turbo city, the turbo dunk, and the oldschool turbo legend, and i think maybe two other models in the honda line up in history relied on boost.
