i recently burned out my oem fuel pump, so i replaced it with a walbro fuel pump. it started out thats i would run out of gas when my gauge said 1/4 tank... but last week it ran out at 1/2 tanks of gas... all i do is run to the gas station buy $5 in gas put it in the car then everything is fine... i know my gauge isnt broke because it would only cost $10 to fill the tank... now my car is at 3/4 and its "out of gas"... please help... im thinking bad fuel pump, bad wiring, bad fuel cut off switch, bad ground... any feedvack would be greatly appreciated

 

your strainer might have fell off the fuel pump

 

Did you make your own custom fuel kill switch?

 

the first place to start is always, ALWAYS with the most recent thing that has been changed before it started ******* up,

for example the fuel pump or your fuel cut off wirering, or the wires on the fuel pump that you just put on maybe something didnt get a secure connection, something is malfuntioning

 

Unfortunately as well, Walbros do go bad too...but check the "sock filter", the grounds, and all connections.
