they are for my front speakers of my 97 lx. i think it says that they are 2.5 in deep. would that be too deep for my front door? here's a link to em. yes i know theyre on overstock but anything got to be better than the stockies.

95% that you need 5.5" rounds for the front, 6.5 is a pretty uncommon size.

I think if you go to crutchfield's site they have a sizing thing where you choose your vehicle and it'll tell you what fits

Eh, they are 6.5 after all. Those speakers look alright, but I do have a hard time believing they'll handle 400W.

Your LX takes a standard 6.5" speaker in the doors, by the mounting hole spacing on the speaker I would guess that they are standard 6.5", [with the 4 "mounting tabs" they would also fit over-sized 6.5" speaker requirements]

At least 3 of the mounting holes will line up with your stock mounting hole locations.

The speaker is .5" too deep for the stock speaker housing, there are 3 mods you can do to make them fit.

1- Cut a hole in the back of the plastic housing big enough for the speakers magnet to fit through.

2- Make a .5" spacer ring, [depth reducer] out of MDF to go on top of plastic speaker housing

3- Replace plastic speaker housing with a custom MDF speaker housing. 94

BTW, Naxa, never heard of them.

Just be cautious. Flea Market prices= Fleamarket Quality. The power rating is peak, so I am guessing they would be 35 to 50 watts RMS

LOL Metrik, never heard of them, but they are a slim line, [and a standard 6.5"] so they will probably fit without mods. 94
