Default NASA: Please provide answers for these questions about JC HPDE 06/29-06/30.

1. What time will the gates open Saturday morning/close Friday night?

2. What time and where will the all-hands meeting take place?

3. Is the time trial open to all HPDE students, or just specific students?

Thanks.

1. Sat. gates open at 7am, Friday closes at 10pm
2. All hands meeting at 7:45 at tech shed
3. Time trial is open to whomever would like to enter. I believe the novice group is full however (only 20 people per group).

Grumpy, Elyse or Chris please correct me if I'm wrong.

The schedule is at http://www.hyper-fest.com/info.html

The all-hands meeting time is not on that schedule, but thanks for the gate/time trial info

One question though. Is #2 speaking of the tech shed at Summit main, or is there another shed at JC?

I think you misunderstood the question...

The "Time Trial" (not HPDE) is not open to anyone who wants to participate. My understanding (from Elyse) is that you'll only run the Time Trial if your instructor clears you to do so.

[QUOTE]I see where it says to "see detailed schedule," but I don't see the detailed schedule anywhere.

I think the detailed schedule is in packet of information she mailed to everyone on Tuesday. This packet also has our tech sheets in it.

GFates open 7 Am both days. First car on track at 8:30. I would guess driver meetine at 8 AM at JC circuit. I'll be at main track running the races.

Ahhh. I wondered about the tech sheets, too. And by mail you mean USPS, not email, right?
I would hope so, this is the technology age but not everyone has access to a printer. That is a good question though.

Not that I am complaining but why do you only get 17 minutes of actual driving time? Why does checker gets waived 3 minutes early? I guess you would have to cut down that 17 minutes to about 15 because you also go out under yellow.

Just to clarify... The schedule will be the same for both days?

I plan to watch both. May miss my timed run on Sunday, though.

Yes the schedule is the same both days

You need to be at the track at 7:15.

Driver's meeting at 7:45.

Probably going to have two Novice groups.

You may camp on Friday night.

Leaving now. Have no brain left.

See you at the track.
