Default Swapping My Teg into a civic...in a way

Hey all, i've searched a lot and read up on a lot of **** i will need to do a b18b swap into a 96-99 ej. I have my complete integra, daily driver, '94 integra w/ GSR Tranny, but one problem, the body is going to ****. I found a 99 civic ex with 230k on the motor i can get real cheap. It is a 99 EX auto. I want to take my rear discs (trailing arms, ect all that ****), Motor, Tranny, ECU, suspension etc. I want to know about the whole OBDI swap problems (i'm not sure if there will be seeing a sim using my ecu, and dizzy, etc), also with the wiring, do i have to yank the whole wiring harness out of my teg? Another thing is the manual swap, i've read into manual swaps and it doesn't seem to difficult with all the parts. I was wondering if most of the parts from my teg will fit in the civic. (Shift linkage, shifter, pedals, cylinders) Also will the motor mounts from my teg now bolt up to the civic chassis. I might have confused some people, but let me know if you have any input, or have some links that i might have missed.

in brief:
you need ek b series mounts (99-00 si)
you need to modify the top trans munt bracket

there is plenty of info here on the wiring just search

best of luck

Did you already hit up the NEW FAQ's thread at the very top of this forum? Im sure everyone will have plenty of input on this topic but the FAQ's thread should also be very helpful and self explanitory.

I believe that the rear suspension will not bolt up to the 96+ Civics. The LCA's are longer on the EJ, I believe.

Can you not find an Integra shell? I'd rather pay a little bit more and get that instead of the Civic.

Good luck with the swap.

the only thing i know about your issue is that you will need the rear tranny mount and blockside driver side mount from your teg (i think its the driver side...cant remember right now) you'll also need your shift linkage from the teg, and axles for the swap.

and also im not sure if teg suspension bolts up to the civic, if it does, it will sit kinda high.

the only reason i kinda know b series swaps into automatic ek's is cuz im doing one right now. 1999 civic ex automatic getting a b16a3 from a del sol dohc vtec witha 5 speed conversion.

hope that helps

Teg rear trailing arm won't just "bolt up", Civic drivers side eng mount is different than the Tegs get one from a 99-00 Si or form HASport and you need to convert to OBDI.

Excuse me, I need to correct myself. You will need all mounts from a 99-00 Si or HASport.
