tuning questions, help please.
hi, i'm currently putting together a custom turbo and plan on building up my engine a little at a time but have little experience with cars. i'm wondering if any of ya'll know any good shops around SoCal that can do dyno testing and help me tune my car as i build it up. also, how does dyno tuning work? i'm very new at this so please understand. do i need to know how to read a dyno graph and do my own tuning or is there a mechanic that does the work? how bout pricing? i've heard that they charge by the hour but is that only for the time spent on the dyno? thanx
it'll be real spendy, im in glendale cali and all the performance stores down here...the money u spend for their service is gonna be WAY more than what ur gona put into ur car "little by little". just do everything and get everything first. when ur done, then check what ur hp is and suff...no sense putting ur car on dyno evrytime u change get a part get put in...
