I don't know what it is about this picture, but to me it looks like someone just photoshop'd your car onto a racetrack. It made me laugh. Nice pics!!

 

Hey, thats my GS-R with the new $5 brake ducts. They actually worked very well considering it was over 110 degrees that day. I just zip-tied them to the opening in the front grill. The last slot is covered with some thin plastic from the factory, nothing a Dremel can't take care of, and presto!

Great day at the track even with the heat.

What track is that? In the first picture I thought you guys were running around a airport tarmack without any cones.

There's hardly any color contrast between the track surface and the run off area. Wierd optical illusion....

 

Yeah, it looks like a big parking lot with some curbing thrown in for good measure.

 

That is the main track at Firebird Intl Raceway! Memories. It does not look quite that strange when you are on track though. It does look very strange in the pics. You have to remember that Phoenix is basically a big pile of dust so it looks a lot like a road. Hehe. The Firebird main straight is really a 1/4 mile drag strip. Very strange track overall.



Phoenix Intl Raceway is much more fun than the Firebird main track.

that track looks very nice! if any of you ever been to SMMP (bragg-smith in parhump, nv) or LVMS... you know that the run-off area isn't very forgiving....
