whats the easiest way to remove an auto tranny from an 04 civic?

I pulled the passenger side knuckle,halfshaft and dropped mine out the bottom to change my clutch.Mark

i have an auto is there a huge diff in size?
would i need to drop the sub frame?

so then its possible awsome.
i wish there was a write up on this i have never worked on something newer than a 96.
this stuff boggles my mind!!!

I still have to drop the tranny in January. I just finished the timing belt change this weekend and want to take a break. I have to replace the reverse synchro and some bearings. It looks like it is a very tight fit. Looks like it's easier to pull the motor and tranny together from the top. We'll see.
