She is f**** sold I sold it b/c I'm leaving Europe for Canada by the beginning of January

Hopefully another R beauty or maybe an RSX-S (Don't want to get an R and have it stolen lol ) But not at the beginning... (money talks )

It's forbidden to bring to Canada a car that is less than 15 years old...

 

Unfortunately, you won't be able to get a stock MR R here in North America. Good luck on the big move.

It doesn't matter at all, as I love PY which are not available in Europe from what I know...

It's funny to see that people always want what they don't have: You want a MR, I want a PY, people in Europe want to put Acura signs on their R's, people in America seem to like the Honda sign...

Well, I owned both at the same time ... Type R and RSX Type S, and the Type S was the one that got stolen. Either or, you're in the same boat over here. No difference.

ha ha ha. I wish I had them (euro)bro, trust me! But I've decided to move to Canada for two reasons: it definitely seems to be a great country, and for job and money issues too...

You know we've a lot of security issues in Europe two, so I hope that the situation isn't so bad in Canada... Is it really that easy to get one's R (or sporty Honda's...)stolen in Toronto?

Short answer .... yes. Yes it is. Any major city will have high theft rates, and Toronto is the biggest city in Canada. Off the top of my head, there have been at least 3 people who got their Rs stolen this summer that I know personally. If you don't have a garage to store it, and a daily driver, don't even bother. I drive my R about 2000Kms (including track time) per year and the rest of the time it's in a professionally deadbolted garage with the pager alarm on, boomerang on, as well as all my other layered security in play. I don't fu*k around with security, and you shouldn't either. When you do get your car, take the threat seriously, be paranoid, and you will be able to keep and enjoy your car. If you think it won't happen to you ... it will.

Other than that, enjoy Toronto! It is a beautiful city!
