hey i just have been savin up money to put a new engine (h22 from jdm in montreal) in my 1993 hatchback plus other performance parts. pushin it to 274hp. not too long after i drove it back it started to rev up to 2000rpm and back down over and over again when it idles. i have had a couple mecanics look at it but they are not farmiliar with performace engines. please help me out please. thanks

 

Im not too familiar with h-series, but im guessing its idles controlled the same way as a d-series. So try looking at your iacv or fitv. If you dont know what these are, look them up in how-to aritcles, they have great step by step guides on this kind of stuff.

 

clean the iacv. see what happens.

 

or it could possible be the egr valve thats what was wrong with my friends
