Default ease of installation dohc vs sohc

topic says it all! which do i have to get less parts for.. i was told the sohc was a direct swap... is this true?? for the dohc i need new motor mounts, axles, etc. any comments on this??

in the 88-91 chassis, all single cams and ZC will bolt straight in. all b series motors are dual overhead cam, they require different mounts, shift linkage, axles, ECU, etc. worth the work for B series. believe every one of us who has them.

It was easy installing my Y8 because I simply resued the stock tranny, axles, mounts (had to modify the driver's side), and it's still relatively quick. It won't beat a B18, but it's still lots of fun. I also converted to OBD-I for the p28 so I can run an OBD-I B-series engine later, if I want.
