Default worth removing ps and ac?

It gets hot as hell down here during summer. But my question is.. in your opinion is it really worth removing power steering and ac for a lil more power? How much more do you gain? o_O and how much does it robb if its on? ty

hell no, keep it. it's what sets your integra apart from an RS model. if you do decide to remove your a/c and p/s prepare to have one shitty daily driver. and when you first get into your car and the leather is burning like fire, you're going to regret it that you feel like you're going faster but feeling like **** driving.

Just get an underdrive pulley, free up .5 HP and still keep your a/c and p/s.

Keep it...for the little (and i mean little) amount of power you stand to gain, its worth the added convinience. I had to take mine out for space issues with one of my previous setups. I have gotten used to it now, but for a while it really sucked. I dont miss AC but my girlfriend does when we take trips. PS is something that you'll just have to get used to...it builds character

Removing these two systems dosen't really do much as far as power is concerned. The only thing I noticed was that the throttle response was more snappy.

the power steering you will hardly miss....I had a 95 Civic DX and my ( little ) wife would not drive it as it didnt have power steering and it was too hard...she drove my 92 DA after I dropped a new motor in it and she said it was not a problem at all without the ps......but the A\C...KEEP IT!

Removing the A/C will not free up any power, since the compressor is disengaged while the A/C is switched off. Removing the PS can free up between 5-7 whp. Both systems will also obviously reduce weight if removed.

As a daily driver, having PS just makes it easier. As for living in South Florida, my first car the A/C stopped working and I haven't had a car since that didn't have A/C, it's a must have for a car down here.

steering feels much better without the power steering in my opinion. Take the belt off for a month and see how you like it.

just keep all your stock parts and dont cut any wires or hoses just in case you end up putting it back in

I have removed my AC...don't really need it where I live. I want to remove my PS but I'm not the only one who drives my car. I mainly did it just to save weight. I'm currently looking at anything that I can remove to save weight...D
