But I heard some tuner said that you should loosen the timing belt when you adjust the cam gears.

nope, just loosen the fasteners and rotate the cam with a 14mm
re tq the fasteners and you are off to the races

Sine they have to be the same diameter as stock, nothing should change about the belt at all...nothing.

Look at it this way:

There are two main parts to an adjustable cam gear, right? The inner and outer. The timing belt is in contact with and rides on the outer part. The inner part is attached to the cam.

When you adjust the cam timing you are moving the cam and the outer part of the cam gear is stationary. With this being said, the timing belt tension will not be affected.

so if you replace your cam gears, how do you the belt back onto the gears? seams to tight to pull back on. any sugestions on that?

Yes, when replacing the cam gears you'll need to loosen the timing belt!

You have to loosen the tensioner before removing and installing the sprockets, then re-tension the belt.
