Crashed my 95 Accordd - Need Suggestions!
I slid into someone today on the freeway, messed up the passenger front end, hood curled up, fender bent, headlight smashed, bumper has paint damage but is intact.
Should I try to sell "as-is" for $2300ish or try to fix it and keep driving it? It only has 145k miles on it and was in perect shape first.
Suggestions?

fix it...if no frame damage then shouldnt be more then a grand to replace the parts and that motor sounds like it has alot more life left
2300ish is too much for a crashed car
Get it fixxed or do it yourself
youll learn something doing it and youll save alot of money

I added a picuture, what do you guys think? It cracked the plastic on my battery casing, my radiator is now leaking coolant, and its making a strange noise when I am slowing down, only until I hit the gas or brake, but if I am costing it sounds like a grinding noise.
Here my list of things that need to be replaced so far.
Hood
Fender
Grill
Radiator
Radiator Resivior
Headlight/Bulbs
Battery
Air Intake Filter

I was planning on it, how much should I expect to pay for all those parts? I can get a new battery for cheap, and the fender/hood/headlight from the junkyard.
I was planning on painting it soon anyways, now I need to.
EDIT
I went to http://www.hondapartspro.com and found a hood, fender, and grill assembly for $285 shipped to my door, that is a good price, right?

Jeebus, stop driving it if you're battery is cracked open and radiator is leaking!
285 shipped is a good price. I got a front bumper for mine for under 50 shipped from a junkyard in spokane. Pick up a headlight assembly and you should be under $500, but if you're going to try and paint it yourself with no prior painting experience, I wouldn't expect amazing results.

I was not going to paint it myself, I was going to have it professionally done.
I could care less if my fender and hood are black for now, I might paint the whole car black eventually.
I need to drive it, it drives fine, I have no other option, no bus route to work, no friends to drive me (they all work too) and cant afford to not work or get a rental car.
I am screwed.
How much do you think I could get if I just sold it as is? Or at least did some minor body work like replaced the hood and fender?

if no major damage is done its better to repair what you can. first diy, then shop help. at 145k the engine is getting up there. you can always replace it or rebuild it along with other comestics. you could be out what 5-8k for example compared to 15-25k for a new or used honda that is worth anything.

That's a great price! Go for it.

Anyone have any expiernece with hondapartspro.com though? The hood and fender come in black, is it ready to be painted like that or will they need prepping?
That suck about your car. I think it still needs to be prepped. If it is glossy then it needs to be wet sanded to get the clear coat off.
