Ecu fuse keeps blowing
Hi,
I need some advice or tech help. I have a B18C in my 94HB. I just got done upgrading the fuelrail to an aftermarket one. I turn the key to number 2 and noticed that I don't hear my fuel pump. I checked all my fuses and the ecu fuse under the hood is blown. I replaced it with another 15 amp and tried that again and the same thing happened. Anyone encountered this problem before or know some kind of remedy?
Any input is appreciated.

Check to make sure your 2ndary O2 sensor isn't grounding against the body. Unplug it and see if it still blows fuses. Just happened to me.
Also try the PGM-FI relay and VSS sensor.

You mentioned that you just installed a new fuel rail. Check to make sure that you did not pinch any of the wires going to the injectors or any of the sensors.
From what you are describing it sounds like you are 'grounding out' a wire.
I would follow sackdz's advice and check both the primary and secondary O2 wires.
It is real hard to diagnose problems over the internet. Especially electrical problems. The suggestions I gave you are just speculation but the symptoms you have indicated led me to give you this information.
Good luck.

You can also check if both battery connectors are tight.
BTW do not install a higher rated fuse to solve your problem, you run the chance of frying something a lot more expensive then a 15 amp fuse.

like sackdznuts mentioned above, its most likely a grounding problem from what you describe. I dont know why he mentioned vss sensor.
