Default FS: 1986 GSX-R 1100 w/ 1340 Big Bore Kit

Posting this up for a friend, located in Manchester, Tennessee.

1986 GSX-R 1100 with a 1340cc Big Bore

Upgraded Cams and Carbs

Hardtailed

Vance & Hines Megaphone Exhaust

Performance Machine Chicane Wheels

New Shinko rear tire w/ approx. 30 miles on it.

New rear sprocket w/ approx. 30 miles on it (comes with a spare new rear sprocket as well Smile )

Oil and filter changed approx. 50 miles ago

Ran a 7.25 at 105 in the 1/8th at Huntsville with a 1.91 60ft (My first time racing a bike and only having riden a street bike for about 6 months so it has a lot more in it Very Happy)

Bads:

-No Speedo

-Alternator not working, you can get a used one with a warranty off e-bay for about $100. I used the bike for just little jaunts about town and at the track so I would put in on the charger when I got home. Battery last awhile when all you have is the ignition system and headlights.

-The plastic has some chips and cracks due to age and riding, but bike still looks great from about 10 feet...

Please call NATE at 863-801-9496 for details/info.

I asked him if the bike was stretched/lowered (because it appears so), but he's not sure.

$2,200 FIRM

Only picture he has currently, is taking more tomorrow.

Fresh pics.....

Quick! Someone get 4age-TOG63!!!!

From what I've read, those old school 1100 are great bikes to build up for the 1/4 mile.

If one were in the market for a drag bike, they'd be hard pressed to find a better one than that.

those old gsxr 1100 motors are f-iing awesome there very strong motors last of the oil cooled gixxers. My best buds got a 86 gsxr 1100 with mikuni flatslides, ported head, cams, yoshi exhaust, advanced timing curve it Screams.

wouldnt doubt if that bike is putting down 160-175whp+

those carbs look to be still CV type, i thought it would have some flat slides considering the motor build and chassis setup

Damnit i have no money......

I would so be on this in a ******* second even if i had at least 1k cash i'd go grab a loan....damnit...

Strap a car tire conversion, a mickey, wheelie bars, and a buttload of nitrous and watch that big bore take it and f*ing scoot.

No kidding. I mean, who wants a bike that reliably starts every time? What fun is that?

Who built the engine? What pistons, rods, block, sleeves, etc. are in that motor?
