Rear tire rubbing after aligntment?
Okay, i wanted to fix the camber on my rear tires because my car is lowered, i bought an ingalls camber kit and then installed it. Heres my problem. I take it to the alignment shop and they straighten the toe and camber but guess what..... my back right tire rubs now on turns and humps but my left doesn't? Is it because they adjusted my camber too far out on that side? Any help will be appreciated. Oh and it would be rubbing even worse but i bent up the quarter panel lip so it wouldn't rip a whole in my tire but it still rubs on sharp turns, etc..... plus its cold and raining outside and i don't wanna mess with this crap. Any ideas or anything would help.
hey what's the info on ur tires?
Also how much did you lower your car?
In regards to the guy doing your alignment, yes he could of aligned one side more why you get more rubbing.
Need more data to give you a better solution.
Like the JDM says foll your fenders, get your camber adjusted and you'll do fine.
