Hey, 6 speeds in reverse could be cool....I say you do it and take pics along the way, with a vid at the end.

anything is possible, you just have to make the engine run backwards, which has already been done...

Yep....this is definitely true. There are also a couple people that made the K heads run backwards and have mounted them on H22 bottom ends. K20a head, H22 bottom, Bseries tranny adapter....could be cool.

You could also look to the old Euro Road racing accords...they'd make the H22 heads have the intake ports in the front and the exhaust ports out the rear. All kinds of crazy stuff is possible...if you have the money.

True, although if you had the capabilities of doing that sort of work you probably would already know if it was possible.

Everything listed so far would be more expensive, less powerful, & more time consuming than just using the appropriate K-series block w/the intended 6-spd.

Unless you HAVE to run a stock ECU and stock block, there's no reason to try the other stuff.

every one alway says that you will have 6 reverse gears but they also for get that the "bell housing" is on the "wrong" side for the K series motors but you would have to fab up some crazy linkage because of it being backwards

Flipping the Engine around, instead of the transmission, would be the smarter option.

If u spun the trans backwards, the flipped the motor trans so the T belt is on the other side, wouldnt that make the car travel in the correct direction?haha

Don't spin the trans backwards, just flip the engine around, so the exhaust manifold is nearest the firewall. That way, it'll be spinning the same direction as the k-series.

one more prob, the k series trannys are much weaker then the b's, due to gear sizes and syncro sizes. you might wanna rethink it. we were actually talking the other day about putting a liberty bseries tranny on a k motor.
