Yeah, there is a light dusting of clear coat, but I fully expect that this paint job will be destroyed by the end of the weekend. I didn't strip it all the way down, since I wasn't sure what kind of stripper was safe to use, so I sanded. Plus it's new paint, and I didn't get a good coat of primer down. In fact, you can tell which one started off as the darker mirror.
But hey, at least they kinda sorta match.

Just in case you want to (or have to after Hyperfest)redo the paint job, Total Auto Parts in Woodbridge (I think there's one in Herndon too) has a paint stripper safe for plastic parts.
