spark plug #2 full of oil!

Default spark plug #2 full of oil!

i just pulled my spark plug wires and number 2 is FULL of oil.. i looked at the gasket and its almost new... idk if the O ring is just not sealing.... wouldnt this make number 2 cylinder run like **** or not even work???

no.
possible whoever last had the cover off didn't check to make sure the rings were in place.

I wouldnt worry too much, my alltrac has the same **** .just get a new valve cover gasket...shouldnt be that expensive.

Usually was the upper spark plug seals ( those four black round seals on the valve cover ), blow the oil out and replace the seals and it should fix the problem.

it's the upper plug seal. places usually sell them in kits, but you might be able to snag just one. that'd be the ONLY reason why it's filling with oil. even if it looks okay, it's obviously not sealing.

clean it out, clean the plug and clean out the plug wire. it's not firing because it's submerged in oil....causing the misfire.

they are called valve cover gromettes you should replace them they will fix your problem make sure you get a bottle of honda bonda also use it on the edges of the valve cover it will help the cover seal on the corners ( with a new gasket of course)

those go around the valve cover bolts...you want the plug seals.

get a air gun and blow out all the oil, then change the valve cover gasket and spark plug seals along with new plugs and you should be okay
