So I got my alarm/starter installed (with no help from directechs.com@#$@#), but rather then pressing the * button TWICE to start the car, I have to push the lock and unlock at the same time to turn it on, then I can't shut it off remotely. Everything else works fine... door lock/unlock and trunk release on the AUX button.

Can someone tell me how I can change the STARTER function from the lock+unlock button back to the *?

The lights flash 4 times when I get in the car and step on the brake, (to go). I have no idea how this got like this lol. It worked perfectly fine when I took it out of my Civic.

Yea.. I considered that. But I didn't install a program switch. (Used Bitwriter) I'll just wait until the weekend.

 

So no one has ever had this happen?

You are right, I am engaging timer mode... but pressing the * button twice doesn't do anything for some reason...??
