Use washer's to raise the hood. I think you might need longer bolts but can't remember.

so i all i need to do is use bigger washers with the same bolt thats in there???? and is this more just for looks or does it serve a purpose? will anything bad happen while driving due to the hood being popped up like that?
Some people might giggle at your not-so-straight body lines but other than that, i don't think so. I've seen it done on superhonda on DC's with an intake filter placed up in that area behind the strut tower, i guess like a ram air sort of thing.

I think the only reason for this is for looks, only actual benefit besides that would be to help defrost your windshield in the winter from the heat coming out from the engine bay.

LMAO yes with washer you too can have that " hey I just got into an accident with the front of my car " look.
Only thing that's useful for is high horsepower cars on a track who need the airflow for cooling purposes....
