free mod = tighten up the throttle cable. right where the bracket is on the manifold there are 2 12mm nuts on the cable. tighten them until there is barely any slack. gives you a little more throttle response off the line.

remove resonator box in the bottom of your bumper on the pass side.
takes up space, weight and gives more airflow to your intake

to be honest, not to knock on anything anyone just said, but none of those things besides the resonter box will make u faster, the only thing that will help you is taking everything out that you absolutely dont need. Lighter- the faster.. bottom line unfortunatly 
the throttle cable wont make you any "faster" and neither will running straight headers because you technically " have to un-bolt something to do that.
