Exedy stage 1 broke on me after 8 months. i couldnt get into gear and ended up limping the car back home on second gear when i miraculously got it in. towed the car to a shop to get it checked and replaced. they gave me back the clutch and a piece that holds the spring broke off, spring was in 2 pieces.

bought a OEM type r clutch ( same thing as non-integra i think) instead. they look more sturdy than the exedy, and hasn't caused a problem since. however, i kept my exedy PP in there because it was heavier duty than the stock one.

I'm running on an ACT HD PP with stock disc(because I had an extra laying around, otherwise would have went with ACT performance street disc) and 7.5lb Findanza and I love my set-up. PP really grabs when you need it too(enough that I got mount inserts cuz I was afraid for my mounts), normal driving though it feel just like stock pedal. My motor is almost like yours, GSR that I have 01 ITR cams waiting to go into it.

I'be been running an ACT HDSS with the pro-lite flywheel. I have had this setup for approx 40k miles and have no problems. The car has seen 4 track days with my stock LS.

ACT= garbage. I've hated driving every ACT'd car i've ever driven.

Exedy stage 1 should work perfectly fine if your car's just on bolt ons. Smooth operation, and awesome grip and life. I've had this setup on a few cars. I have installed a new OEM exedy setup on my GSR a few months ago...and

Oh yea forgot, I had an OEM Exedy kit in my DA with the same Fidanza flywheel and everything was perfect also, but it doesn't grab like the ACT HD PP does.

Since you're not going to make much more than stock power an OEM replacement clutch would be the best option. You could get something like the Exedy Stage 2 that i run, but its overkill for your setup. Stick with something inexpensive...stock replacement FTW
