We'll i've posted this build up on k20a and on turbooptions and figured, hell its honda-tech time.... heres all my posts ont he other site condensed into my first one. ENJOY!
Here's what I started out with: traded my old EG h23vtec and EK ls for this :

Mind the gay face, lol... this is what she looked like... you cant see the cracked rear bumper, body FULLLL of dents and holes from a body kit/etc BUT she had a k20z1 in there w/ a trashed trany
homies drove it from NC to MA all in one night on a whim
got the bodywork done/new tails/new bumpers/god rig of the fugly wheels, etc lots of work. and this is what she looked like :

dirty car!
then got another tranny and slapped tranny in with the help of JORGIE, ek squad memeber, w/ an amazing midori kfrank EK, and this is how she looked:

added a competition stage 4 clutch when I did that, cause I knew i wanted mor epower int he future...
Then I sourced a greddy turbo kit for an rsx 1000 bucks, snagged it and seit it up in a day. street tuned it, boosted 6psi for 4 months or so, thing was fast as expletive! But i always wanted a sidewinder kit and my head started gettin crazy...
picked up a 2nd project, did a dc slapped jdm front, had buddy paint, instant winter beater and began tearing down the EK!
only pic I took

Heres how the ek was before I ripped it apart, main reasons being bay was a mess and wasnt happy witht he shitty paintjob, heres goes nothing:
PRE-RIP OUT

**** was def a mess, and heres what I ended up doing...
-sold the motor, turbo kit, front bumper/fogs/lip/si cluster/etc and left me with a good chunk of change to get started...
I first stripped the bay down to nothing, took all wiring out/etc and scuffed, primed painted my new color:

Picked up a k24a1 ( so I can do an easy k-frank down the line in the future) cheap locally w/ warranty:

well turns out when i took the IM off to put the RBC on, noticed a broken valveseat lodged into a valve, took it back and made full use of my warranty and picked up another.

We ende dup pulling the head off th ebusted motor and noticed 4 MELTED PISTONS, wtf, but new motor is good

scooped up an AFI sidewinder, tial WG, oil lines, etc as you can see

also sold my SI cluster for a nice s2k cluster and harness

marked the wiring and wen't to town...

wired her in there, and tested if it worked and SUCCESS!

and made my cf bezel for it aswell, looks sexy!

all the while I had a turbo built from BLAAST and it came, mocked everything up, looks nice eh! .70 intake .82 exhaust MONSTA!

Finished the wire tuck and fusebox and battery relocated under the dash:

nice and neat
heres the bay all un-taped and motor is ready to go in:

Jorgie came down again with his little brother and helped me put the motor in the bay, big thanks to them! SO heres the motor freshly dropped in and mocked upa few turbo pieces:

wired everything up and test-fitted the headlamps. This is fully tucked everything is functional.

here is my freshly painted valvecover
PB+J in the bay! this is to go on last!

extended and tucked injector wires, and attached throttle cable (I NEED AN EG/EK ONE!!!) changed up the IC piping a bit and my buddy did my downpipe and dumptube (not sure how im gonna finish it yet) for a sandwich! ahaha, and here is where it sits as of today...

*note no ghetto zipties will be holding the IC **** up, its just for mock-up purposes, lol...
we'll theres the past month in a nutshell, all im currently waiting on for it to be able to be cranked over is my fuel setup pieces I ordered and put them together and crank dat' like soljah boyyyeee!!!
I will update this like I do the other sites from now on, theres lots to go trust me (full color change to the peanut tan color, interior/exterior/lots... stay tuned and hit me up with some feedback, thanks!

im going to put that on last... i still have to disassemble all the turbo **** once my fuel stuff arrives this week... do that, then re-attach everything for good. THEN the vc will go on, I just dont wanna chance it gettint scratched up... THANKS!
idk all the sidewinder manifolds have the downpipe/etc in the same spot. I heatwrapped mine in efforts of a little help, but I should be fine...
Cluster was easy, just make sure you have the pinouts and know how to solder, I for some reason like wiring. Mine would be 100x easier if I just cut the stock cluster plugs off, but I had the bright idea of wiring the s2k one inline witht he stock plugs in case I wanted to go back to a stock-style cluster.... I don't think I would ever, dummy me !
