regarding ep3 ftw's Discrimination speeding topic
i was told by my cousin that if you get clocked for speeding, your allowed to ask the officer to see the radar if your feeling ballsy, if he doesnt show you you can techincally argue that you werent going that speed and the officer was pointing you out for having a "visually fast" car. anyone have anyidea of this is true?
Depending the state some cops do not have to show you the radar. I've done it and found out that robo-bitch didn't even use the radar she said she was "Pacing". Yeah ok "pacing" and she was about a 1/4 mile back away from me...riight... unless you have eagle eyes or something that's not possible. I got out of the ticket. If you're going to accuse me of something you better have evidence to back that up. like i said before in another thread 85% of tickets are off of guesses and assumptions. Cop has to guess who is speeding a radar doesn't tell a cop "It's the <insert color> car" It will only tell them a speed and they have to guess who it is.
If a cop pulls two cars over and says "I caught both of you speeding" then he's full of
a radar can't clock both cars at the same time. Wish i knew more about radars back then like i do now. Learn about radars and it'll help protect you in the long run. Like they say Knowledge is power.

true that. idk i guess if both cars are side by side i guess she can say your both speeding, but she cant throw numbers at you to write down. i dont plan on getting a ticket again, and lost the lead foot after a incident i was in. but yea, hopefully RSX HERE I COME WEEEE
if you do end up in court, you can also ask to have proof of current radar calibration sheet. every state is different, but most are suppost to be done every 3-6 months. if the radar calibration is not up to date, then you have a great chance of getting out of it.

Why couldn't a cop pull two cars over at once? It only take less than half a second for him to point at one, get the speed, and point at the next car, get the speed.
In Wisconsin, they do not have to show you the gun.

in MN i don't think they need them for court, as far as i know.
i still love the line my officer used last time...
Me- "56 MPH? ...can you show me the stub? ...there were 2 others around me..."
Fuzzy Mustached Cop- "I had you LOCKED in on RADAR and LAZER, and i had you TONED in.
You changed 3 lanes without signaling
(but i did- just really FAST!), and passed everything in your way until i caught up to you...
(Hehehe...) "
Me- ...
"sorry Officer, i didn't see you..."
FMC after running my licence - "Here's your ticket, i only made it for 45 in a 40... SLOW DOWN!"
WHEW!!!
Hope you guys have as much luck as i do
(it was my first speeding ticket in 7 years, and the one before was only 42 in a 30 and that was 15 years ago!)

because they more likely aren't using a gun they are using their radar. Yeah if he's using a gun he could do that but it still becomes more debatable if he clocked one car then clocks the other. How do you know he clocked your car, what if he accidently clocked something else thinking he was clocking your car because he "tried" to be quick in clocking 2 cars. It more likely wont happen because that has more of a debatable point in court and the ticket will be less likely to stand in court.
lol im done worrying about it. Court date is Tuesday, going down Friday to see if i can pre-pay the freakin thing and get it over with and if not, i go to court and take it all like i cant hear a word their saying. Word of advise people...if your gonna come down here to Alabama you better not drive anything slammed...cops hate it. LOL HONDA DISCRIMINATION. This is a true story, happened the other day. a freind and I were crusing to Athens in his '03 GT mustang alright? When i say cruising i mean 110 in a 55. Cop caught us..."Son i remember being that age, just slow it down and have a nice day." WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP!!!
