warm december day+uncourteous riders=disaster
went from this
to this

so the story goes as follows:myself and 2 other co-workers were riding down this road i travel down atleast 3 times and im well familiar with it.i just put on my metzler sportec m3 so i wasnt really trying to push the bike, just a casual saturday ride.after riding about 50 miles we decided to ride down this road.the turn was a slow speed entrance with about a 30 yard bend which gradually gets faster.well half through the turn, this punk on a gixxer 750 came in way to hot and was in my lane.we were so close we could have frenched kissed.i was doing maybe 35-40 which is slow for this curve but before i could react, my lines changed and i kinda paniced and layed her down(actually road her down) a ditch.dood didnt even stop.luckily i was wearing all my proper PPE and didnt get hurt(except my pride).well the 6 needs a new upper fairing, left mirror, left clipon, rear sub-frame,headlights,fairing stay, left foot peg bracket, and rear fairngs.merry xmas to me
ps.karma is a redheaded drag queen:while we were waiting on the trailer to come, the dood rode by to investigate the scene and i guess he thought i was gonna say something to him so he sped through the turn again and whatda know,he laid his bike down along with running 2 more bikes off the road
luckily nobody got hurt allday just a lot of pride.
be safe out there guys

Wow!
Sorry to hear about the accident but happy to hear the gear worked. We all know bikes can be repaired.
As the rider that caused the wreck, he'll get his soon enough if he keeps up that kind of riding.

nah, we didnt rough him up.he got whatever came to him.i should have taken pix but all he had on was a helment shorts, sneakers, and a t-shirt
u can imagine what he looked like after hiting the road then the shoulder.not to mention,he was the only person out off like 20 bikes to get a few hefty tickets.

i have fc,but in my case,i cant claim it.its pretty deep because im a marine and my unit would not be happy if they found out i went down.i would actually get in more trouble if i claimed it.plus my coverage is a pockect breaking $22 bux a month
and i dont want it to go up.not to mention,i already got the parts to fix it for $305 big ones.so hopefully i can ride in a cancer rally this weekend.

wow that sucks, but i hate to say it, im glad that douche got what was coming to him.

to the OP, i would have not had the self control to not beat his ***, even if he was already busted up pretty bad from his own crash.

seriously you got the parts for cheap.
I went down, had to replace frame slider, spool slider, stator cover, shifter
That ran me close to 2 bills
