HEY guys quick question PLEASE I BEEN HAVING THIS PROBLEM my civic keeps shutting off everytime i come to a stop sign or red light i cant figure out what it is i just had the fuel pressure regulator replaced i had the alternnator and starter i cant and no mechaic can figure it out its pissing me off.........Anyone have any suggestions please please

does it turn on right away after shutting off or u have to wait a while ??

 

It turns on right away no problem...

 

Sounds like a bad speed sensor to me

 

Speed sensor??? how much those run around??............

 

Depends, new they are expensive. Used varies, I normally sell them for $25. Its located on Transmission. Has one bolt that holds it on.

 

If you search for one, search for VSS

 

might wanna check ur ICM (Ignition Control Module) mine did the same thing a week ago and that ended up being the problem..
