Default This Weekend's H.C. Race Plan

This is what Chris and I have agreed on for this weekends races. Subject to change if the schedule changes again.
Since it is expected to be a serious sized spectator event, we're doing some extra things. We'll also have some downtime between races switching from NASA's T&S system to the formula car guy's system.

Saturday Race
20 Laps, Standing Start.
National Anthem played while we are on grid
1 pace lap.
Race
Class winners will take an extra "parade lap" (runoffs style) and proceed directly to the winners circle for trophies and Champagne.
Following trophies there will be a closed party for HC drivers, crew, and NASA officials only. Beer, food. Not open to the general public.

Sunday
20 lap race, standing start
Parade lap for winners

See, I couldn't have done the national anthem for this one anyway...

The mike will fit through the window.

Come to think of it, that would be pretty damned funny. I say keep the helmet on while doing it.

LMAO! That would be an interesting rendition! Like the song isn't tough enough to sing without trying to do it while strapped into a racing seat.

I don't know where you got this info. But the details have NOT been finalized yet as to anthem and lap count.

Anthem - per Cobetto as NASA timing system gets set up.

20 Laps - You and I on the phone about two weeks ago... Remember?

Damn, now his memory is going south as well .
