wow someones got ***** to do 80 in the rain AND taking a curve that fast. I won't do over 70 on the highway if its raining... once the tires let go and you're sideways you're pretty much f*cked.

Those aren't *****... those are dormant brain cells! Never try to outdrive the conditions!
-----------------
but wait... did you lower your cars? it shouldn't spin...???

did you guys rotate your tires regularly?
it's to make sure the <U>best tread is in the rear</U>

every time i've lost traction in the corners, my car goes straight!
/\---traction
\\ &lt;---front tires slip
||

if you are losing your rear end (it swings you around like a top) you have less traction in the rear...
&lt;---traction!
\\ &lt;---traction!
|| ---&gt; Spin!
AND THAT'S DEADLY! Especially in the rain, dirt or snow!
Fix that or get them "spintops" off the road!

Tire shops are not allowed to let you out the door with better tread on the front- it's against the law in this state!

i couldn't get my rear end to slide out unless i was using the handbrake in the ice and snowpack.
(sure, my car is lower than most -2" Nuespring drop, but still!)

...Expensive lesson!
But Glad to hear you guys are ok- thank your guardian angels
God Bless!

A buddy of mine rolled his s2k in the rain....was going faster than conditions would allow and he spun. Ended up rolling the car a few times, wasn't wearing his seat belt, and he walked away without a scratch.....let's just say he learned his lesson.

that s2000 is a RWD car... it's totally different than spinning an ep3!
but i'm glad he's ok... there are lots of lessons being learned out there lately!

i learned most of my lessons back in the 80's driving RWD, FWD, 4WD, and Cycles
i've safely tested my limits on ice... then dirt tracks/roads... and eventually the pavement.
i've had my days and nights being sideways at 80 mph on the freeway corners- and have always pulled out of it!
(<U>Thank You God</U>!)

the few times i've completely spun (on empty backstreets) it has been due to
MY inability to detect the slip, until its too far, and not being able to correct it...
its an easy mistake many people make in the snow here... i've never done it on dry pavement!
i've also Never caused an accident in 25 yrs of driving!-
but others DrUNks... have hit me- going thru red lights, going wrong way, etc.
dont drink and drive!

CJ0 - tell us how much the estimate was!
