This is my throwback thread... a history of EGStreetHtch!!!
So many of the people who know me online or through the Honda scene know me by my old civic. Even many of my close friendships are a result of the time I spent on my civic running around for parts, finding extra hands to help with swaps, and getting involved with some local shops.
I have many fond memories from this time and after discovering all of my old pictures I thought I would reminisce a little and let everyone in on it... hope you enjoy
the first pic I EVER took of my civic

my love for black housed headlights started early. You can see by the style of the automobiles behind me about what year this was...

My first windshield replacement, a result of bad hoodpins
haha
ps. this guy was freaking crazy, literally thought he was a profit!

Love this early pic of my civic

I used to bounce this thing off the red line like it was no one's business... and I paid for it repeatedly

before the art of a rolling shot made any sense to me... obviously haha

The early early click

when my lug nuts were still red, not pink!

The only pic I have of my car without a CF hood

The car club thing for me was very short-lived, but it was fun and I still keep in touch with many of the dudes who were in UNIT-ZERO haha... love that ****

This might have been a first "photo-shoot" thanks to the good buddy kevedge, some classics in this bunch, here are a couple

oh yah forgot this earlier pic just before installing the CF tailgate. I knew I wanted one from the first time I saw it as Access Motors...
eventually I got one as a gift from a pretty cool chick. The same chick who I later purchased my Integra from

I like to refer to my years of driving around in this civic my "fat years"... I think the reason is pretty clear. I was nice and chubby at the time

B series time... I rolled around with the single slam for long enough. Went through a bunch of different very fun set-ups. The D15b was one of my favorites when you could still find them WITH the LSD Tranny for barely more than $400

Here is a dash shot, I loved the CF inside and out

First Fuddruckers El Toro meet put together

Second Fudd meet, rain couldn't stop us... cameo by EK4 Tony
RIP JDM JON...

Some more shots by kevedge

Some serious BLING* which I was known for while rolling on Schumachers when everyone else was running out to buy slipstreams and c-8's

Fillin up, kevedge's second hatch... first to most but I had the pleasure of knowing his first red eg that he ran into a transformer box! oh and WITHOUT his license!!

A little BW action for ya... this WAS my last new CF lip purchased, It was #5

THIS IS DEFINITELY MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE SHOT OF MY CIVIC, HANDS DOWN

Hangin' at the "garage" aka my buddy scotty b's place. Where all the magic happened

Some last shots I took with the car in its final stage before selling

BBQ-ing for the homie Tanner's girlfriend's bday. The last meet I took the civic to

And lastly, the picture that went into the Autotrader to seal the deal. It was the end of the road for me and this car. I owned it for about 5 years I think... Now I have moved on to a DC, which is where the whole Honda thing started for me!
I have come full circle in a sense... just with a lot of maturity

I now roll in this...

It's still in progress but I plan to take some decent shots shortly after the holidays
kevedge, hit me up!

Thanks for all the kind words everyone
And I realize that the "timeline" might be confusing but keep in mind that many of the stages that my car was in lasted more than a few months, sometimes years.
The final stage it was in last two years before I decided to sell it

man i remember that hatch yours and mine shared a lot of things very similar cars
I remember seeing your old hatch when I first started looking around Honda-tech in like 2003 and was in love. SSR Schumachers were my favorite wheel for a long time because of pictures of your hatch. The new teg is pretty sick too though. Keep it up homie.
