What did I just mess up on m car? (attempted an HID install)
Ok so here's how it begins.
I have an HID kit on my car. Driver side doesn't work, passenger does.
When I turn on my hi-beams, both lights cut
I bought a new hi/lo kit
I took out my old driver side kit, plugged in my stock h4 light, worked like a charm. (this was tested not even 5 mins before i tried for the HID install)
I attempted install on driver side only, pass side was still old kit. Got as far as, turning on the lights - pass lights up, driver doesnt. Turn hi-beam on, driver side low-beam kinda pulsates, pass flickers (thats prob #1)
**So with those results, I fucked around every which way possible with the wires to get the driver side to work properly.**
Finally after 2 hrs, I got fed up and decided just to put my driver side back to stock, and leave this install for a pro.
Here's prob #2. Now the stock bulb doesn't turn on at all, and when I turn my hi-beam on, my pass flickers (before it would just turn off....?)
So can anyonly help me with both my problems? With hi-beams on, my passenger hid went from being off, to now flickering...? And my stock bulb on the driver side doesn't work anymore...?

yep, check fuses, then wiring.
i never had a harness or anything because i just got some ballasts and ignitors from a TL, so i just upgraded the 12v headlight wire to like 16 gauge, wired that to the ballast, then grounded it. you only need to mess with like two wires. i don't have hi and lo beams though, so i guess our methods would be a bit different. :/

How long have you had the HID kit for? Is it new or used? i would check the fuses (as previously stated) also check the headlight harness with a test light or DMM (multimeter) and make sure your harness is reading (2) 12volts 1 for hi and 1 for low and also the ground, i forgot which colors where what. Also make sure that the harnesses are properly grounded. HID kits can act funny if they are not grounded properly, also check to see if you are feeding them atleast 10-12 volts to at least fire them up because they crave power to ignite them. If all else is good, Then i would suspect a faulty bulb, ballast or ignitor? Hope that helps ya out.

the wires are ok, ,,,its the fuse 100% sure.....civic n integras r usually number 12-14 use a higher fuse, nothing will happen,,the reason for this is because that hid kit is pulling more energy than suggested, no answer for that..good luck

Do NOT get higher fuse than recommend rating....not a smart thing to do...

HIDs use less power than Halogen, please check your facts before assuming.
