lowering a 96 hatch
what would be the easiest way to lower my car say 2-3 inches or so?? just getting lowering springs, or coilovers?? what exactly is the difference between those two anyway?? sorry its a dumb question but i new....thanks
i personally wouldnt buy r1 coilovers, i would stick to ground control or skunk2. and as far as camber kits, its a good idea to get one if you even lower your car an inch just to save your tires
actually, the suspension type on most Hondas IS a coilover type if you want to get technical. It means the coil is over the shock. You really mean adjustable spring pirch...sorry to get so serious...but getting the adjustables is always best, especially if you do lots of different driving, especially winter driving...
I wouldn't get Skunk 2's- every car I've been in with them, either slammed or stock height, is really bouncy and can't handle corners very well. I personally like the Tien HA's or the Apex N1's. Both are a completely adjustable setup with spring to shock matchness. They're about 850-1300 though.

i'm dropped about 2 1/2 inches on ground controls and tokico illuminas. with coilovers, you have the ability to adjust the height of your ride to whatever you like. also, i would suggest a camber kit and an alignment after you have found your desired height.

my friend has Skunk2 adjustables and KYB AGX struts. very bouncy. I rode an integra with progress true coilovers and i was very impressed. smooth over bumps and great on turns. true full coilovers.
my brother has Tokico 5 way gas shocks.......
seem to get the job done well!
ALso - when i purchase my coil overs...Probally going to be ground control or Skunk2....how do i go about adjusting the height?

to adjust how low you want your car to sit with coilover, there is a ,little threaded collar that you just to turn and it will make the spring higher or lower
