First of all, you shouldn't be arbitrarily cutting wires based on a website. I don't care if God himself wrote it, I'd verify the wire I'm cutting or tapping into before cutting.

I suggest that you break out the multimeter, and find the correct wire.

Second of all, you don't have an EK, and definitely not an EK coupe.

If, after you've tested the wires coming out of the fuel pump, you don't know which one to use, take pics of what you're working with and we'll try to help you out.

LOL... Go read your VIN. I guarantee that it doesn't say 1HGEK....

Anyways... Both wires showed 12v when you turned the key on and showed 0v when the key was off?

I don't give a **** what that guy calls it. He's wrong. You're wrong. Unless your car is a RHD Hatch imported from Japan, it's not an EK. If it's a '96 2 door, then you have an EJ, probably an EJ8, as per the fourth, fifth and sixth characters in your VIN.

Anyways, I did try to help you. I asked you a question about how you tested the two wires.

And stop being a post *****. Edit your posts instead of making 3 new ones.

Edit to add this link, which should clear things up for you, and all of the other people who are misinformed... https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2149516

you tagged the wrong wire. Its the other one. Second you should also do a main relay kill. You should allways test wires before you cut. Sometimes the color will be off by production. And he is right you really don't have a ek. Its a ej8. Ek are rhd. BUt the body is the same so people call them that.

So let's get this right, you post that you have an EK, your told it is not an EK and why not.
Your asked to test the wiring an/or take pix so you can be helped.
You argue the point about your car being an EK, you say you metered the wires and they both meter the same, same what?
It is explained why your car is not an EK.
You argue the point some more.
Then finally admit what is correct, but call the person trying to help you a jackass.

I was going to try and help because I know that things can get a little confusing and I could tell you were getting frustrated, but then you got argumentative and rude, calling the guy trying to help you a jackass.

So here's my advice, face the wind and start pissing. 94

There's a shocker! And it has everything to do with your thread.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by stehigs321 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">what wire do i kill for my killswitch??? Green/yellow...which didnt work and only switched on my low fuel light...or some other wire...f off EJ8</TD></TR></TABLE>

I've asked you twice now how you tested the wire that you tapped. Who's the jackass?

You're obviously someone who has no clue what they're doing, nor do you know the proper way to test a wire.

We're not mind readers, you know. We needed more information, which you refused to provide. That's why you got no help, period.
