Ok well I drive a 90 Rex and I have stock bulbs...I was looking to change them since im getting tired of them being orange yellowish. Can anybody tell me what bulbs would looks really bright and clear. I dont like the blue look to it I prefer something realllllyyyy bright!!!! and a clear kind of HID look but without the blue to it. What brand is good, how much, and where can i get them.
Thank you
Thank you
Look into doing this. http://crf50.no-ip.com/fourthgenhatch/9005.html I have done this on all my CRX's. It works very well and has no ill effects to on coming traffic
I have done the 9005 conversion(with piaa bulbs) and it was good, but I got some HIR (halogen infrared reflecting) bulbs which are even brighter without running the wrong wattage. they're kind of new as far as headlights go, and are coming stock on many new vehicles
check them out for yourself http://hirheadlights.com/
I dont know why people dont mention these bulbs more often, I guess its not as cool as hid or blue lights. but I like the fact that these bulbs are very bright, running at the stock wattage along with being white in color

I second the Silverstars. Except I'm rocking highbeams modded to fit the lowbeam slot, which makes them 70% brighter than stock, or par with other cars, and I never get 'flashed' for being too bright.
HID's are either custom Chinese stuff, or rebased 'real' HID's. That usually leads to glare for other drivers due to your stock reflector. The ideal route is to conver to a full system with matched projector & bulb/holder. But thats usually 2-3x the cost, plus cutting.

If the pictures aren't working all you gotta do is throw the O-Ring from the 9005 on the 9006 and shave the tabs with a dremel. It's really easy.
No. If you're worried about it, you can just go to the junkyard and rip some 9006 female connectors and solder them into your low beam connection
